Our coffee beans are produced in the Satipo Province in Peru in an ecological zone that sits at an elevation between 1,600 and 1,800 MAMSL.
The coatimundis, also known as coatis, are fed the best coffee fruits as part of their natural diet. The coffee beans are refined during digestion by the enzymes that are present in the coati's stomach. This process adds to the coffee flavor by breaking down the proteins that in turn produce a sour flavor and giving it a unique taste.
